• The chromecast ultra can be used for both things, the main use of chromecast are casting videos and stuff but the chromecast ultra has double functionality as it can stream games with stadia as well.

• It can do both! After setting up controller a code will appear on the top right of your google chromecast screen. If not playing games do not put in code and use the chromecast like any other chromecast.

• With the Chromecast Ultra that's included in the box, you can indeed stream content that's playing on your phone. It's has all the normal functionality of the Chromecast but with Stadia already pre-loaded.
