• No, you have to have the disc in. Even though it downloads the data onto your Xbox, the disc is what validates your license.

• No, you need the game in the drive to play. Otherwise you have to buy the digital copy

• Unfortunately no. I had the same issue a while back on a game and got with xbox customer service. had to get the xbox drive fixed. Luckily I had the geek squad protection so it didn't cost to fix.

• On the newer consoles i dont believe you can install a disc version and play it as a digital game.
