No, all Switch starter packs will include the Arwing and Starfox pieces. To obtain the PS4/XB1 starter pack pieces, you will have to purchase those specific starter packs, but the ships will work with the Switch just the same.

The ship and other accessories work with all 3 versions so one of thoes could beused unstead of the Star Fox ship. lf you mean with out the starfox game mode, still no but you van use the other piolet and never use the statfoz game mode.
