• Yes, the MDP2DPMM6 is a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable and will work with the MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015). The MDP2DPMM6 will also support 2560x1440 @ 60hz. Atha, StarTech.com Support

• I use it for my 2012 MacBook Pro Retina display. My external QHD monitor is native 2560x1449 @ 144 Hz and it works seamlessly with this cable!
