• Hey I have a very similar situation wanting to go from a new gpu that has display port but no dual_link dvi which is needed for using 3d with Nvidia as your already know. Did this adapter allow you to use Nvidia 3D with a 3D monitor because one of the answers to a question in this feed said it was limited to 60HZ monitor refresh rate? Thanks for answering an old question if you are able to and if you didn't use this product what ended up working for you? Thanks again,Matt

• Yes the adapter converts the Video Display port connection to a VGA connector.
