“Will this connect a dell monitor to a lenovo Thinkpad laptop?”

• If the Dell monitor has a DVI port and the Thinkpad laptop has a Display port it shouldn't be an issue. The other way around won't work though.

• The DP2DVI2 is a passive DisplayPort to DVI adapter and will work with any DisplayPort DP++ enabled source to a DVI-D display. As long as the connecting devices utilize these connections, the DP2DVI2 will work. Atha, StarTech.com Support
