No, the MDP2HDMI is a passive Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter used to connect a DP++ enabled Mini DisplayPort source to an HDMI display and the Sony PlayStation 4 does not have a Mini DisplayPort. Atha, StarTech.com Support
