The MDP2HDMI is a passive Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter used to connect a DP++ enabled Mini DisplayPort source to an HDMI display. As long as the connecting devices utilizes these connections, the MDP2HDMI will work. Atha, StarTech.com Support
