hi, I am the one who asked the question. Thank you for answering it. However, I purchased the keyboard myself after I asked the question, and much to my delight, I have discovered that in fact, the OLED screen does show the caps lock, numb lock, windows lock, etc... I do enjoy the difference in colors of the keys based on if num lock is on, etc... I think it's brilliant. But, yes, the statuses do appear on the OLDED screen.

When the lock is on, the key is lit one way, and when the lock is off, the key is lit another way, both of which are configurable. I initially thought that the color difference would be a pain, but it actually makes a lot of sense. If you want to know if the Caps Lock is on, you look at that key. Of course, if you choose not to use the lighting, this functionality may pose a problem.
