The current edition of the MacBook and MacBook Pro do have a 3.5mm headphone jack. So both Bluetooth and wired connections are options for current MacBook models.

To my knowledge current generation Macbook and Macbook Pro do not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack so you would only be able to connect via Bluetooth. If your intention was to pair to your phone and connect via wire to your computer then you would need an additional adapter. This would be a 3.5 mm to USB or USB-C depending on the specific model and configuration. If your intention was always to pair the headphones to the computer and not use the cable then you are golden.
