Yes I believe so, I mean you can still hear sounds but more muffled, when the games going you won’t hear anything but the game, also can hear sounds in the game I don’t normally hear when going through the tv so if say you play Cod online you can hear everything around you in the game so if someone is moving to you you can hear them way better than you would without the headphones. Helps you pin point where the sound is coming from where going through the tv it’s not as easy to figure out. also love the fact I can use these headphones for any system and or computer. Worth the buy and glad I grab these headphones over the other brands. Hopefully I answered the question and didn’t just rant but overall with the price and what they can do it’s worth it in my book, good luck with what you decide!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The headset itself is not but it blocks out sound very well with the pu seal on the ear cups. The Microphone IS noise canceling just to make your voice clear without background noise.
