• This specific model doesn’t come with a amp, but you can use this headset wired.

• ok so, when you connect your arctis 7 wireless your pc will read 2 "different" headsets, one for chat and the other one for the pc, so if you are per say in discord and you have selected to pair them with discord the nob on the right can be used to lower your pc sound and leave discord, or the other way around, and pretty sure you could leave them plugged the whole time, but why buy the wireless ones if you wanna leave them plugged
