• A:Answer If you haven't already, you need to download the steelseries engine for your PC and connect your dongle to the computer. Use the app to check for and update your headset. I just bought mine mid- July 2021 and I had to update right away. Not sure of the firmware version, you need the engine software for that.

• A:Answer Not sure, I use mine for gaming, it's my first and the sound and mic have great sound. I like that it has tons of options on it. Also has a transmitter that you plug into a USB port. So far, they have lived up to the awards they were given.

• A:Answer I would assume no. Microsoft is integrated therefore connections will always be for devices made specifically for them. Sony is Bluetooth connection based. Therefore Bluetooth devices are able to be plugged in and connect. Ex. (Turtle beach headsets for Xbox do not require a dongle, PlayStation turtle beach headsets require a dongle for connection)
