Get the Xbox version! This one will not work on Xbox!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, it is not necessary. The Xbox version works with all platforms; PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, (and Xbox itself ofc). But if you get the PlayStation or PC version it won't work on Xbox.

But the Xbox version works with PC, Playstation and Xbox so the Xbox version is statistically the best option. I don't game on console much anymore so I didn't mind buying the PC/PS version.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You need to get the desired headset for whichever system you plan on using. Ex. Xbox headset for Xbox, PlayStation headset for PlayStation. Although for some reason The Xbox headset works on PC and PlayStation but the PlayStation headset works on PC yet does NOT work on Xbox.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately you need the XBOX version, which comes with a Microsoft security chip allowing you to connect to your console. The PlayStation one does not come with said security chip.
