Will it be ps5 compatible? null

Sony hasn’t come out with info on the PS5’s audio ports yet but even if it doesn’t have an optical port you can still connect the GameDAC to a TV that has optical. You can also use the gameDAC with a USB only connection to the console but you lose certain features like chat mix.

As of current it has a new firmware update, that I highly recommend when picking these up. When I first unboxed it, before the update, the DAC only gave me input settings for PS4 and PC. After the update I noticed PS5 option was available on the game DAC.

Yes i think that ps5 will be compatible because we have all been waiting for backwards compatible system.
