“Are the back surround speakers wireless? I mean of course they have to be plugged in for power but is the sound wireless? They don’t have to be plugged into the computer?”

the rear channels do not have to be plugged into the computer, they receive their signal wirelessly from a transmitter in the subwoofer, with that said, buyer beware, research the rear channel static/cracking/popping issue these speakers have before you buy. even from 73 inches of clear line of site away, they have major issues.
