• Mine is sturdy and is very still. It does not slip at all. This is a very thick mouse pad. It will wear very well.

• this has a padded rubber bottom, as do most mouse pads. It should prevent slipping. if it doesn't, however, it is large enough that you could put some adhesive strips on the corners that would hold it down and you would not feel the strips while in use due to the overall size.
