You can only use the front ports and use the adapter that came with it. Also, make sure that you have switched the controller to the proper mode. One is for USB and the other is for WIRELESS RADIO (I guess that's the proper name) It is instructed in the manual of the car to do so but to caution that the rear USB adapters are only for output of power.
