Yes, it works great connected to a Mac and any iOS device. I did not notice any delays either, which I have read some controllers may have.

No, this is not compatible with OSX.

This joystick works with OS X. I have this configured with Elite Dangerous with zero issues and all button combinations working as you would expect.
