QuestionDoes the 5948005 stick support 1080p too? I ask cuz I have a 1080p TV today however in 6-months, I'll have a 4K TV. Would suck if I had to buy the 5947832 stick to leverage my 1080p TV then have to buy the 5948005 stick in 6 months to leverage my 4K TV

- Answer The Roku Streaming Stick Plus can work with 1080p or even lower quality screens. As well as work with 4K.

- Answer Yes. I have Xfinity and when I go to the guide I can hear the show I am currently watching play in the background but can not see it. Hope this helps.

- Answer I move my Roku frequently between rooms. It's very simple. The only feature I lose is the ability for the remote to control the power and volume. I can use this feature on the TV in myiving room (the first room where I used/setup the roku) but not on the addition TV's.

- Answer Hello! All Roku streaming players, including the Roku Streaming Stick®, Roku Streaming Stick+, and Roku Smart Soundbar, will work with any television with an HDMI connection. Certain features such as 4K Ultra HD or HDR require that you connect your Roku player to a compatible television that can support these features. If your TV doesn't support 4K or HDR, your Roku player will output a compatible HD format for your TV instead.

- Answer You’re tv is actually 1080 hd and even though this Roku Stick is 4K, you’re tv will only produce up to a 1080 quality image because of your tv’s limitations. This is my same setup I currently use as I still have a 1080 tv and just recently purchased this same Roku stick. I’d still go for this Roku Stick over the other options because of the better wireless capabilities, better processor and potential to have 4K video quality in the future if you were to upgrade your tv to 4K.

- Answer You can download the prime app on your roku. I have prime, netflix and I stream sling tv thru my roku. Dont have to mess with the apps on tv just use your roku.

- Answer I bundle on Spectrum/Time Warner. 4 tv’s in house. One cable box. Use Roku on other 3tv’s and get all the cable channels with no “box” fee plus all the Roku free movies and such. Streams off internet. Saved renting 3 boxes

- Answer No. I chose to cancel cable and add YouTube tv. It is a paid monthly subscription. You do download the app to Roku and it works great.
