• Absolutely. I ordered the hard copy myself and just to see what would happen I tried to play the game without the disc inserted. Nothing. Gotta insert the disc........

• Yes. The disc has Street Fighter IV on it. After installing the DLC included, it should now have a different aesthetic. Also it will be the championship edition. Despite installing the cd, you will still need to insert the disc to play on or offline

• Yes, you need the physical game in the system to play. The download code is for the Champion Edition Upgrade, which is useless without the main game. Although the main game will install from the disc, the disc will need to be in the system to verify ownership every time you play.
