Though it plays through the car radio, the battery doesn't seem to want to allow the player to keep playing after a few songs. I went to return to store and salesman told me to try the USB that comes with unit first. When I plugged into USB port, the CD player continued to play through the radio with no interruptions. Instructions with unit don't really help, so I'm glad he suggested it. Works just great now.
