“We are building a patio - with full roof and with dome/white skylights (not clear) to allow for light without direct sun - ever. Is this considered "Shade" or do I need to consider the TV placement as partial sun?”

Hi there. Great question. If you have high/intense ambient light (which could result from a white skylight with a certain amount of sun exposure and the right viewing angle), you may me happier with our Signature Series Outdoor TV. The Signature series costs a bit more, but it also has a higher-brightness screen and also has TruVision anti-glare technology. Both enhance picture quality in high/extreme ambient light areas. However, the Veranda series is about 30% brighter than typical indoor TVs. You may want to view a display model at a local Magnolia.
