- Answer The Veranda Series TVs are made for installation outside in a shaded environment, so while they are about 30% brighter than most indoor TVs, they are not as bright as our Signature Series TVs made for partial sun installations at 700 NITS or our full sun televisions, our Pro Series. All of our TVs are designed to be safe in all weather conditions, and we recommend purchasing the unit that is the best for your particular installation. - Answer Thanks for your interest in mounting options for your SunBriteTV 43" Veranda weatherproof TV (SB-4374UHD-BL) for permanent installation in fully shaded areas. Since most folks that purchase an outdoor TV end up wall mounting it, we did not want our customers to incur the additional cost of a heavy duty outdoor-rated stand that might end up in the trash! We recommend SunBriteTV branded mounts as they are weatherproof, with features like rust-proof stainless steel hardware and heavy-duty weatherproof coatings. Several types of SunBriteTV outdoor mounts are available - All with lifetime warranties: Tilt or Full-motion (articulating) wall mounts are the most popular, but we also offer table top stands (similar to indoor TV bases, but made of heavy-gauge metal that can be screwed into sturdy wood or other materials. We also offer ceiling mounts, and deck poles, which is a heavy-duty free-standing option when paired with compatible mounts. - Answer Thank you for asking! Yes, the SunBriteTV Veranda Series TV will still be fine completely exposed to rain and snow. However, if you’ll be watching TV in partial or full sun, you’ll want to consider our Signature or Pro series models. All SunBriteTVs are fully weatherproof, and meant to be permanently installed outdoors. Their powder-coated aluminum exteriors and weatherproof seals protect internal components from rain, snow, dust, insects, and contaminants. Veranda Series models are 4K UHD and designed for use in fully shaded areas. They are up to 30% brighter than typical indoor TVs. Signature Series models are also 4K UHD and designed for use in partial sun applications. They are up to 3 times brighter than typical indoor TVs. Pro Series have both 4K and 1080P models and designed for use in full sun and active applications. They are up to 3 times brighter than typical indoor TVs and are more resistant to high temperatures. They also have a protective glass shield over the screen to help protect it from impact. The brighter screens needed for partial sun (Signature Series) and full sun (Pro Series) applications are more expensive to produce, which translates into higher product cost and price. QuestionI noticed this tv is not Bluetooth enabled. However, it can connect to bluetooth capable devices. Would you mind expanding on how this works. I am looking to purchase outdoor bluetooth speakers. How do the devices connect if one isn't blue tooth enabled?

- Answer I purchased a wireless Bluetooth transmitter the salesman recommended and it paired with my Bluetooth speakers easily and it the cost was in the $30 renge

QuestionJust got the 43 inch Signature tv from Best Buy and the site says that the dust cover is included. When I opened the box, the dust cover was not included. Does the Best Buy purchase include the cover or should I order it?

QuestionWe are building a patio - with full roof and with dome/white skylights (not clear) to allow for light without direct sun - ever. Is this considered "Shade" or do I need to consider the TV placement as partial sun?

- Answer Hi there. Great question. If you have high/intense ambient light (which could result from a white skylight with a certain amount of sun exposure and the right viewing angle), you may me happier with our Signature Series Outdoor TV. The Signature series costs a bit more, but it also has a higher-brightness screen and also has TruVision anti-glare technology. Both enhance picture quality in high/extreme ambient light areas. However, the Veranda series is about 30% brighter than typical indoor TVs. You may want to view a display model at a local Magnolia. This is really one of those situations where a consultation with a profession audio visual installer/integrator may be a benefit. Hope this is helpful! Happy outdoor living!

- Answer Hi there. We'd recommend a consultation with a professional A/V installer/integrator to review the specific install location. Building codes and environmental conditions can vary substantially by install site. Generally speaking, SunBriteTVs should not be installed within 5 feet of a pool or spa due to building codes. However, SunBrite TVs are fine completely exposed to rain and snow. The Veranda series is for fully shaded applications. For partial or full sun, we recommend the SunBriteTV Signature or Pro Series. SunBriteTV also offers a full line of all weather outdoor mounts with lifetime warranties. They feature stainless-steel hardware and powder-coated exteriors. From the mounting requirements you describe, we'd recommend the SunBriteTV deck plantar pole model # SB-DP46XA along with a 43"-Veranda-compatible mount (SB-WM-T-M-BL tilt mount or SB-WM-ART1-M-BL full-motion mount)

This SunBrite Veranda Series 4K Outdoor TV has an 4 HDMI inputs and supports many different resolutions and formats, so is compatible with most Android TV boxes. - Answer Hi John, Thanks for your question. Electrical codes in different areas of the country vary widely so we cannot offer specific advice in this area. In general, especially if exposed to wet conditions, the SunBrite outdoor TV will require a grounded and GFCI protected power outlet with a weatherproof cover (commonly found at hardware stores and home improvement locations). We'd also recommend contacting a Best Buy In-Home Advisor (IHA) and/or qualified professional AV integrator/installer for guidance. - Answer Technically yes however moisture will eventually cause problems. You'll certainly want to take it down in winter (if you live in a cold climate). We tell our clients that using an outdoor tv is the right way to do it but at their cost, you could go through four regular tvs and break even...
