Q: QuestionCan this tv receive my Netflix signal
Asked by Seal.
- A:Answer Hi Seal, Thanks for your question. The 43" Veranda series does have HDMI inputs, which can receive Netflix signal from a variety of different streaming media players. However, the TV itself is not wifi-enabled, so it does not have apps like Netflix built in. We concentrate on the main features that make TVs great for outdoor environments: safety, performance, and durability. If wifi and apps are important to you, it's quite simple to connect a streaming device by HDMI cable. Happy outdoor living!

Q: QuestionRegarding the HDMI ports, I would like to know whether a Roku Streamstick + or Amazon Fire TV would fit better. Is the USB port near the hdmi port and can it power the Roku device (it can be powered by usb if there is enough power to it).?
Asked by Lack.
- A:Answer Hi Lack. Rather than give you potentially incorrect information about compatibility with the specific Roku and Amazon Fire products, I'd like to provide you with information about the SunBriteTV product you're considering (the 43" Veranda Series), so that you can make the best purchase decision. Here is a .pdf file with dimensions of media bay compartments for all the Veranda Series. The 43" diagram is labeled "4374" (https://www.dropbox.com/s/5gln02t0vb6dwtv/SB-4374_5574_6574_7574_Media_Bay_Dims_Veranda.pdf?dl=0). Also, here is an image showing the HDMI and other input/output ports (https://www.dropbox.com/s/96dsn0n2ud3hi8m/connection%20points.jpg?dl=0). Finally, the USB port supplies 0.5A (500 milliamps) of power. Thanks for your interest in SunBriteTV products. Happy outdoor living! .

Q: QuestionAny reason why the outdoor tv's don's have wifi capability? Part of making a great TV is the technology. Most TV's these days are Smart TV's. I really don't want to hook up any peripheral devices to my outdoor TV. Not sure why this was missed?
Asked by Curious.
- A:Answer Great question. We made a choice to not go "smart" with our weatherproof outdoor TVs, so they don't have apps, Wi-Fi connections, or Bluetooth. It’s very easy to add though. Just plug the third-party streaming device into the SunBrite TVs HDMI port. There’s a weatherproof media bay built into that back of the TV that keeps cables and streaming devices protected from the elements. Our customers tend to keep their SunBrite outdoor TVs for a long time, replacing them much less frequently than indoor TVs. And let’s face it, the user interfaces from streaming media device makers are almost always much more elegant than built-in streaming offered by TV manufacturers. We focus on the things that are important to most outdoor TV owners: Safety (Weatherproof), Durability (Powder-coated aluminum exterior with stainless steel hardware), and Performance (brighter than typical indoor TVs). Our outdoor TVs do support the latest 4K and full HD sources with HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 (streaming media players, game consoles, cable boxes and more). Hope this is helpful. Happy outdoor living!
