That's why I bought it, mine has been exposed for 6 months its cabinet is very is pretty extreme with water tight gaskets and all
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, the TV does not require a cover and can be left exposed to rain and freezing snow. In fact the covers we sell are not waterproof, but are designed to keep the TV clean (dust, insects, etc). As for sun, the Veranda series is designed for use in full shade, so is not designed to be used in sunny conditions. We do have other series designed for sun though. The Signature series is for use in partial sun and Pro series can be used in full sun. Operating temp range for Veranda series is -24F to +104F. Signature is -24F to +122F. Pro is -40F to +122F.
