Hi there. The SunBrite Veranda Series is designed for fully shaded areas, although it can be directly exposed to rain and snow. It’s quite bright, but if the space will receive filtered or direct sun we recommend SunBrite Signature or Pro Series models. Hope this is helpful! Happy outdoor living!

There’s a lot of screen reflection on a sunny day which was disappointing. I installed a roll up shade at west end of porch which helps . I also would recommend a sound bar .
