That red light should not appear in your photo, turning off before the shutter opens. To turn it off, press and hold the function button until the Fn menu comes up. Use directional buttons to get to Fn-8 and change from 0 to 1 to turn off AF assist.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can turn off the focus assist in the camera. You have to turn it off in camera for each flash, if you turn it off for one flash the camera will remember that, but if you put on a different flash it will default to having it on again.
