“I just bought this external flash. For my Nikon D3400. I put it on and it worked for a few pictures. Now the flash won’t work, is there anything I can do to fix it or is it not compatible with my camera.”

Your flash is compatible to the d3400 and it was working properly when you first got it. Did you change any settings? It sounds like a connection problem either in the hot shoe, batteries or wiring. I would try new batteries and reconnect in the shoe. If that does not work take it back for an exchange. This flash has worked well on my D500 after I figured out the proper settings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It’s not compatible with normal batteries and the securing ring goes off track easily. Pop the whole thing off, replace the batteries with high power double AA, and then put it back on the hotshoe like it’s a precious little baby you’re afraid to jiggle, move, or shake in anyway, and it should* come back for you (Also be sure to double check that the external flash control settings in your camera didn’t revert to presets after powering down).
