The previous caller was correct. With fresh batteries/recharged. It should/most turn on. It is best to use the other method of fresh/RECHARGED in the flash. And as long as the camera is functioning/turns on and operates. Then you will have the perfect test. Both turned on and fully powered.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That should happen automatically if the flash is fully installed in the hot shoe. Your camera must also be set at or below maximum sync speed, which might be 1/200 or 1/250 on a Nikon camera. Not sure about sync speed on a Canon.
