I know for sure it's compatible with a Nikon Coolpix B500 because that's what I use. If your camera has the standard screw hole on the bottom of the camera, it'll work just fine. Actually, I like Nikon cameras. I have an old Nikon Coolpix L28 and it works with this tripod. This tripod is probably a little over kill for a L28 camera but why not get a really good tripod so when you upgrade your camera you won't have to upgrade your tripod.

If your camera has a 1/8th screw or 1/4 screw you should be fine. Either of those will work with this tripod.

Not familiar with the Nikon Coolpix L30, but if it has a threaded hole in the bottom and a guide pin hole, it should work as the threaded screw on the tripod is standard for cameras and camcorder. You will have to remove the screw mount adapter from the tripod, then screw it into the camera.
