While the price of this game is a bit high, Nintendo is not ripping us off. The games have been updated with new textures and graphics, (up to 4K60 on NS2) as well as new story book entries, amiibo support, assist mode, (great for younger players) all with the portability of the Switch. Also the $20 limited release you are referring to was 3D all stars, which was $60 for all 3 games, if you only wanted Galaxy it was still $60 for less content than the new version. Also with it being a limited release, Nintendo could probably afford to make it cheaper. And with the case of the Wii U Virtual Console also being $20, it still was just a port and not a remaster.

Please try again later.While this isn’t even a question I’d like to point out there’s something wrong with your sentence being that these games were able to be purchased on their own. FALSE! You had to buy the full set in 2020 and each game was $20 each for a total of $60 which was considered a good deal but then got taken away due to nintendos “limited time” deal. Now one of these games is $40 and the other is $30. It’s likely galaxy 2 is $40 and galaxy 1 is $30 since it just got remade… again. Overall your point is valid but you put it in the questions tab of Best Buy this would’ve been better for X
