Matt - I lock my bike up using a Very Large bike lock. As these are expensive E-bikes, I think it's better to be safe than sorry. Spend the money and purchase a heavy-duty bike lock; I purchased mine from a Motorcycle shop. I wrap it around the battery and although cumbersome, it is a great piece of mind that your bike is secure. I lock it up in a bike rack or other conspicuous place. I do not worry about the battery being stolen as it is securely already locked in. Good Luck.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As an owner of the RX, it was a well worth purchase for getting from A to B. Its a smooth comfortable ride. The number one thing I suggest is purchasing a helmet for safety. I also got some gloves & added turn signals to the RX.
