• 4K will not play on a blu ray player but blu ray will play on a 4K player.

• No if your DVD player is blu ray and blu ray only it will not play 4k you need a 4K player which will play blu ray as well.

• No it will not play on a blu ray player. You'll need a 4k blu ray player, it does come with a blu ray disc.
