• Yes, they recently started including the port plugs with it. Got one about 2 months ago and it had the plugs in the box. If it does not have them, call SVS and they will ship them to you free. First sub I got didn’t have them and they shipped them out and had them less than a week later for free.

• Yes. However, if you think you would be using them, maybe you should consider a sealed sub. The ports are there to create airflow for the sub. This helps maximize the sound being produced by the unit. The port plugs dulls this unit with a bit, the pb 1000, is not that powerful and really does not pack a wallet. The ports tend to assist in aim the sound toward the listener.
