Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can't ride them on sidewalks in most states, only in the bike lane and in my state of RI, there signs in the bike path that you can't use any motorized items on the bike path or skateboards which they also carry a motorized skateboard but it's sideways whatever you want to call that thing and I've seen these sell online for $299 for the swag bike with no taxes and ships for free and that's been going on for the last 5 weeks now online on tv and they state that you can use the skateboard thing on the bike paths and that's not true because my state has signs everywhere and you get caught you get fined for riding on the bike path with a skateboard in there passing out fines to the parents of the kids because they hold the kids have them call their parents so they can be presented with the ticket and yes I know for a fact because I've known people it's happened to. So before buying, look up your STATE LAWS ON IT ALL AND IF YOUR NOT SURE, CALL YOUR STATE TO FIND OUT MORE ON IT. Thats the best thing to do and most people believe that you shoyld be able to. Well most people don't know its against the law to ride any bike on any SIDEWALK PERIOD all bikes of all makes must be driven in the roadway and you must obey the laws like your in a car, so yes you can be giving a ticket for driving on the wrong side of the road or goibg threw a RED LIGHT or STOP SIGN, people don't know this, the biggest thing is you can be charged with DRUNK DRIVING ALSO AND THATS ON A pedal bike and all. So call your state is my best opinion to find out answers.
