“How can the bike be secured? If I ride it to the store and go inside to do shopping, what keeps it from being stolen? A regular bicycle lock does not seem sufficient.”

• I put mine in the shopping cart and bring it in store and walk it beside me

• You can lock it up just like a regular bike just wrap it around the frame then to a fixed object like a light pole or bike rack
