Hello Lilly1949, The camera's built-in night detection sensor, which detects daylight and night (ambient brightness levels),automatically keeps the floodlights off during daytime to conserve electricity and make your floodlights last longer. You can still manually turn on the floodlights during the day using the light control tile on the dashboard or the live view screen. Please let us know how we may further assist you, Thank you. JV Swann Customer Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Swann, I am looking to replace flood light in the back of house. I understand it has a dimming feature, but my question is can I control the brightness of the light when it detects motion?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The lights come on automatically when there is motion ONLY when it is dark. You can turn them on manually via the app during daylight hours if for some reason you wanted to do that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No switch to do that but they don't come on when it's light outside
