• I think the clips are about 30 seconds. They do seem to start before motion is detected, which results in complete clips of the action.

• The recorded activity starts after motion is detected and last for about 45 seconds.

• The clips start a few seconds BEFORE there is any motion, something my Arlo 2 system didn't do very well. The clips also last a few seconds after the last motion is seen, making them very useful for security footage. I was pleasantly surprised at this, even though this is exactly what a security camera should act like!
