Hello Bluemax, Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. This camera has infrared night vision up to 130ft/40m (total darkness). The PIR sensor will work up to 32ft / 10m. The cameras can be set to continuously record or based on the PIR sensor per channel. The lights can be controlled remotely using the application if needed or motion sense based.
