“My brother has no internet, and uses a land line for a phone. Will this work ? Or do all systems need something besides a tv ?”

Hello Ricky, Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. An internet connection is not required for the unit to record onto its 1 TB hard drive. If you will need to remotely access your unit then an internet connection will be required via the Ethernet port on the back of the unit. Please let us know how we may further assist you, Thank you.
