You can also back up video to your personal Dropbox account in the cloud &/or transfer videos to a USB memory stick. The amount of recording you can store depends on your personal dropbox. A:AnswerDear Customer. The kit you have purchased includes the PRO-1080SQ camera model, but these particular cameras do not have any audio capability. We have recently launched a newer camera model called the PRO-1080MQB which features a microphone for 1-way audio. This is the first camera model to feature audio on a DVR system, prior to this it was not possible on a DVR due to technology limits. As your existing kit has 8 channels but only 4 cameras, you could add up to 4 more of the PRO-1080MQB if you wished to.

Whilst there is a chance your older PRO-T850 camera may still connect to this newer DVR model, we cannot guarantee it unfortunately as the technology in our industry evolves quickly and the T850 camera is around 7 years old and has not been tested with this latest DVR. We would recommend purchasing one of our more recent camera models as their resolution & features such as PIR sensors are superior to the much older T850 & will deliver you a better experience. We often have great deals on refurbished cameras on our website if you are interested.

A:AnswerHi Bancos. This is a wired system & there will be one video/power cable per camera that needs to run between each camera and the back of the DVR unit. The cable splits into two on the end; the BNC video connector will go into the back of the DVR box, whilst the other end plugs into a power adaptor which needs to go into a power socket. Four cameras can get their power from one power adaptor via the splitter we include. The DVR box will also have its own power adaptor, meaning that you will need two spare sockets in total somewhere near the DVR box. -SD, Swann Product Management.
