• Only needs internet connection for viewing from a remote location. Works as a monitor/recorder with no internet.

• This specific system itself does not require an internet connection to function. The only need for internet is if you wanted to link it to your Swann View Link app on your phone so you could view the feed away from the house. Otherwise, without internet, everything else will function fine (feed, recording, normal use).
