“Why is this product (Model: SWDVK-8HD5MP8) listed as a "Black & White" package, when the manufacturer (Swann) advertises it as "Color"?”

• That has to do with the color of the units as the DVR is black and the cameras are white

• That is the “color” of the cameras only. White with a black rim. I thought the same thing. The video is color except at night when the infrared kicks on.

• These cameras record in color. I almost returned them after seeing that in the name but realized it had to do with the camera body color. They would sell a lot more if they fixed that in the name and added color recording in the deecription.

• The Black and White refer to the color of the Camera body's. The system is Full Color Video feed.
