Q: QuestionAre these cameras 12 megapixels? If not can I add them Looking for a good security system around 1000 love all the features that you guys have an are advanced more then others my only problem is all the bad review that you guys have.

Q: QuestionAre the dome cameras fixed or can they be adjusted (up, down, side to side) remotely via the app or the NVR?

• A:Answer Hi Prash. From the NVR's menu you can set a schedule according to Day and Time for when you want each individual camera to record or not. If you are home on a regular pattern (for example 9 to 5 each work day), then this could work well for you. Unfortunately there isn't a way to disarm one camera only from the app, it would need to be scheduled through the NVR itself. Hope that helps. -SD, Swann team.

Q: QuestionDo you have to use wifi, internet or app? Will it connect to a pc monitor? Will record to the nvr-no extra or hidden cost? Can you turn off all lights (IR) and use it on a window seal? It will be a private connection?

If you would like to connect the recorder to your wifi network, you will need to add our Swann Wireless Adapter. This recorder can connect to a monitor using a VGA or HDMI cable. Swann does not charge any fees for remote access and control using our Swann Security application. The IR lights can not be turned off to use on a window seal. The connection when remotely accessing and controlling the device is private. Q: QuestionWhy am I unable to setup Face Detection and Pedestrian Detection? I bought this product having read that it has Face Detection. Manual says PID, LCD and SOD needs to be turned off in order for this to work which I have done and rebooted but still no luck.

Q: QuestionIs the system resistant to salt water air? I live on a Florida ocean bay.

Although IP66 is weatherproof, the outside of the camera is still subject to frost, ice, and dew when out in the open air. These cameras have mot been treated with a special coating for salt water air. We recommend you install under some sheltered location where possible but if this is not suitable for your location simply aiming the camera to look a little downward can stop moisture from settling on the camera lens.
