After you have used the pod once. The SWASH will leave a small hole in the pod. You can take the pod out and refill it with water. I use distilled water or filter water. I wouldn't over fill the pod with water. I fill it with just enough water where the small little trickles stop coming out of the hole. Then I place the pod back in the SWASH and use it like you would with a regular pod. Once it's done your clothes come out wrinkle free. You just don't get that fresh scent smell. I always rotate my pods out at least once but no more then twice. I wouldn't recommend reusing the pods more then that. I hope this help you.

If I have laundered an item and it is wrinkled, I first use an empty pod and fill it up with water and run a long cycle (15 minutes). Then I use a new Pod to freshen the garment on another long cycle. The short cycle is 10 minutes. The pods use a clear liquid akin to Febreze and spray it on the garment front and back through tiny nozzles.
