Hey there! Thanks for your question. We do not recommend adding pegs or extra seats onto the FLEET as it was not designed to be ridden with 2 riders. Any adjustments you make to the frame may affect the structure's integrity and cause undue stress on your e-bike. Even if two riders' combined weight will be under the max limit, the FLEET is not tested for more than one rider. Please make sure you practice safe riding, and only use your FLEET according to the warnings listed in the operation manual. We'll absolutely keep two riders in mind when developing products in the future.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't recommend this, but in my opinion (FLEET owner) the bike certainly appears structurally sound enough for it and I don't think it would affect the balance significantly. I've been close to max. weight with cargo with no detrimental effect. Obviously, more weight means longer acceleration and deceleration times, slower top speed and decreased run time That being said, if you're going to do it...use a purpose-built seat (don't make your own) and use GOOD axle-mounted foot pegs (there appears to be enough free axle to accommodate this). Keep passenger's weight as forward as possible and do NOT overload. And don't ride like an idiot if you've got a passenger!
