How do I open the seat to access the storage? null

July 2022- Just got one of these and the seat access procedure has changed (and SWFT has not updated their instructions). There is a small round button right below the back of the seat on the fender, above the taillight. You need to push that button down while simultaneously pushing the key in and turning it to the left. That will cause the seat to pop open.

We understand this can be a bit tricky at first. To open the storage compartment, insert your key into the ignition and turn it to the left, while simultaneously placing your hand on the back of the seat to lift the seat up. As long as you are doing both (turning key to the left and lifting the seat with your hand) at the same time, the compartment should click open. To close the compartment, simply press your seat until it clicks back into place.

Turn the key all the way to the left. I had the same issue.

Insert the key into the ignition, push halfway in, then turn to the left.
