- Answer Hopefully BestBuy start caring about Elite Plus Members Too!!! Looks like buying spending 3000 dollars a year mean noting to them after all, and just spending 200 dollars paywall is more important now, well no more elite plus member for me, just 200 dollars a year now! thank you BestBuy for ruining your own business.

- Answer Yes. None of the internals or processing power is changed. Only real differences are a new screen, kickstand, and slightly more storage space.

- Answer OLED screens allow for better contrast because each individual pixel in the screen is self lighting. The switch has a resolution of 1280x720 meaning there are 1280x720 pixels (921,600 pixels). On a regular LED display the screen is backlight. This means a light is shining behind the screen or from the side of the screen to illuminate the pixels. Better LEDs have several zones of backlighting to assist with contrast. OLED doesn't rely on backlighting. Instead all 921,600 pixels can be lit up or turned off to produced better contrast. When the image displayed in your game is black, the light isn't just dimmed way down like an LED so the image looks more black-gray, the pixels are actually turned off to produce a perfect black image. Long story short, this will be a HUGE upgrade from the original Switch screen and definitely worth the $50 price difference.

QuestionIs it really worth 350.00? I keep looking at the specs and nothing seem to of really changed other than screen, slightly better battery life...Would consumers just be better off with the current Nintendo switch?

- Answer It depends; if you mainly play in TV mode, this upgrade is almost certainly not worth it. The only thing that would improve is the LAN dock, although you can already buy a USB one for about $30. However, if you almost exclusively play in handheld or tabletop mode (like me), it might be worth considering. The new screen & better audio would be pretty great, and especially if you have an original model switch, the battery will last longer (because of the HAC-001 revision and battery degradation). Finally, if this is your first switch, just go for it! It’s not too much more than the base model!

- Answer Just call your nearest GameStop. They require in person pre order for this item to prevent scalpers from beating the system. I got one at noon today. You need a $50 down payment which offsets your closing price.

- Answer They already did preorders in July. I don’t like how they say “coming soon” when it’s really “preorders sold out.” On October 8th the order button may go live at a random time, but that’s only if they have stock. I would check at midnight, and if not then, 8-11AM CST. Hope that helps. If you have trouble finding one though, I know someone with an extra order.

- Answer You need to watch the page constantly, or follow a Twitter account that watches for these things. Best Buy will update stock quantities and when they do it will be up for pre-order. Once those quantities are out they will update the page with either a "Sold Out" button, which means all quantities have been sold. Or they'll update with with "Coming soon".

- Answer You need to be more prepared. Open the Best Buy app and keep refreshing that as well as the webpage. The app was updating stock faster than the website yesterday. Good luck.

- Answer Their FAQ says the following: Q: When will I be charged? A: You will not be charged at the time you place the pre-order. Only when your item ships will your credit card be charged. If you order additional items along with your pre-order, you will be charged for each item as it ships. Their email confirmation of the order says the following: • Your credit or debit card will be charged when the item is ready for pickup or shipped However, I can say for the pre-order I made, the charge has posted to my credit card already. I was charged immediately for the pre-order and I will be watching out just in case for a duplicate charge for the order.

- Answer At this point customers are being trolled by these retailers. There’s no point in leaving listings up for items that won’t be available for sale in the foreseeable future. The OLED Switch already sold out months ago through the preorders. It’s available for sale today (10-8-2021) but to WHOM exactly? It’s all a huge joke at this point.

- Answer Based on my experience with existing Switch consoles (since I obviously don't have the new OLED one yet), you will need to reformat the card and redownload whatever you want on it. Of course the micro-SD card itself will be usable so you wouldn't need to buy a new card unless you wanted to keep two cards or get a larger one. But I believe the console software will say that the card was from another system and must be reformatted (i.e. erased) before you can use it on that system.
