A:AnswerDue to the current pandemic, switches are sold out everywhere. Unfortunately Best Buy doesn’t have any sort of waitlist to get a switch, so your best bet is to constantly refresh the website and hope that one is in stock. They seem to restock every week or so, but they get bought really quickly!

A:AnswerQuarantine has put this in high demand. We got lucky back in June when we got ours and my wife was able to snag one early in the morning when it updated on the site. That's what you have to do to get one. Apparently (according to someone i talked to at Best Buy), Nintendo sends it to the warehouses, and from their they allocated how many will be sent to which store. Then they update the website, before even sending it to the store. So if you are lucky enough to get one, you will still have to wait a few more days before it ships to the store... or directly to you if you choose that option.
A:AnswerUse a stock alert tool! Just google it. I did and got mine from Best Buy the first week of July. If you have a discord account you can set it up for push notifications to your phone. I also got the sold out ring fit this way.

A:AnswerHey so I got my switch by keep refreshing the BestBuy site, but now more and more robots are buying the switch in order for people to resell them so my best bet would be either to go with a switch lite because it is cute, small, and will play animal crossing easily OR do what I did and keep refreshing daily until it allows you to add to cart. A:AnswerHi Nintendo has announced that they aren’t even things out releasing a switch pro or switch 2 so if you want a Nintendo switch it’s best to get one and enjoy it. I’ve had mine for 2 weeks and love it. If you do decide to get one make sure you get the one in the red box because it has better battery life for the exact same price.

A:AnswerThey get some stock in periodically but you just have to check often. I had the Best Buy, Walmart, and Target sites open in different tabs on my phone and would refresh the pages a handful of times a day or just whenever I had a spare minute. After a few days, when I refreshed the Best Buy page, the yellow order button was there and I was able to order successfully. Just picked up my new Switch from the store today.
